However I was a few dresses bride (bought the ceremony one and ended up getting my dream dress and wearing for the reception).
What is it that bothers you? I had a dream fabric and ended up finding it on the ebay dress I bought last minute (the price of the fabric alencon lace was beyond my reach). I wore both dresses and didn't regret it for a minute. I'm not trying to enable you but trying to help you figure out what's bothersome and also advocating a reception dress if that helps.little luxury listhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17630812969476483227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2783214501166327058.post-25190037190347477522009-11-22T02:57:37.004-08:002009-11-22T02:57:37.004-08:00Send the blinders my way when you're done with...Send the blinders my way when you're done with them.Mrs Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03367631935043016430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2783214501166327058.post-6610039385509086362009-11-21T19:01:08.333-08:002009-11-21T19:01:08.333-08:00You are definitely not alone in feeling like this!...You are definitely not alone in feeling like this!

PS Just found your blog - adorable!Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00717229551734780531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2783214501166327058.post-75446477296023365782009-11-21T17:59:55.712-08:002009-11-21T17:59:55.712-08:00yep..i was the same way... but my venue kinda dict...yep..i was the same way... but my venue kinda dictated which dress i went with... I think you are never going to be 100% satisfied with your gown. I think it's the same with venues, wedding colors, and any of those once-in-a-lifetime things that you get to have at your wedding.Katerinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11750705048643118323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2783214501166327058.post-43598121973397873552009-11-21T11:46:19.172-08:002009-11-21T11:46:19.172-08:00You know, I heard in one of those many bridal show...You know, I heard in one of those many bridal shows I watched the other day that once you purchased the gown you stop looking at any other gowns. Afterall, it's not like you can buy another gown and have it back in time for the wedding. Although you bought your gown earlier, you still researched it a lot, tried on a lot & knew what you wanted, so you just have to trust yourself, know that you *did* pick the right one. Yes there may be some that you think are beautiful but they won't be everything that you want, the dress you picked was picked for a reason and it is the one for you :-)Westside Weddinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07179305041995114592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2783214501166327058.post-63349589674431225672009-11-21T09:43:51.785-08:002009-11-21T09:43:51.785-08:00i'm going through the same thing! i lucked out...i'm going through the same thing! i lucked out finding gown i loved right away and now i keep seeing gowns that i think i might like better or that are more what i THOUGHT i should go for - i have had to in fact put the blinders on (that and go visit my dress at my parents house regularly to remind myself that it is the right one for me) I also try to remember that what i thought i liked on the computer screen initially wasn't great for me when i tried it on so seeing a gorgeous model or bride in her beautiful gown doesn't have anything to do with how you look in your gown (or might look in her gown) I try to just tell myself it's already checked off the list - move on and carry on!Kristyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12928917209075734716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2783214501166327058.post-91827029352150656312009-11-21T09:07:12.847-08:002009-11-21T09:07:12.847-08:00I haven't bought my gown yet, but I fear this ...I haven't bought my gown yet, but I fear this will happen to me, too. I think you just need to remember that you picked your gown for the right reasons, and definitely did your research beforehand. I picked mine out, got it in September I think & I have to wait until August to wear it!!

I can't afford another dress, though. So that just means I have to stick with what I have! :)PMerrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02938843508415251123noreply@blogger.com
