Home safe and sound...

Well, after 21 hours of travel yesterday, we are home safe and sound in our somewhat empty house...missing our pup.  I did tell Mr Fix It after my post the other day about his dog passing and we both cried off and on throughout the last day of our honeymoon.  But we still laid by the pool, chatted with new friends and did some dinner and shopping in town before our trip home.

I have much to share from the wedding day and honeymoon and will be back at it soon.  For now, the gifts have all been opened, the house is getting settled in with me and my daughter, Little Miss joining Mr Fix It for our first night as a family.  And I will be back to work tomorrow.

Thanks for following along...I am glad to be home and ready to start sharing details about everything...and especially what I learned and will encourage you to do for yourselves so the same mistakes and missed opportunities don't happen to any of you.  :)

Hope all is well and looking forward to catching up on all my friend's blogs once I get all caught up on work and such.

Congrats on the wedding and the (awesome) honeymoon. I know your pup is smiling down over three and is happy for the new family you've just created.

Can't wait for the recaps!

Welcome back! Hope you had a fab honeymoon.

We just got back last Monday just 1 week ago (we had an extra 5 nights in the Maldives as we couldn't fly home because of the volcanic ash cloud over Europe) and I'm still trying to catch up with everyone and haven't got round to starting any re-caps yet!

Welcome back! I'm glad that you and Mr. Fix-it could be there for one another during the tough loss of your dog, and I'm happy you made it back safe and sound. I can't wait for your recaps!

so sad about your dog. thats horrible. I couldnt even imagine it. My theory on dogs are to feel better get a puppy. The puppy CANNOT replace the dog, but how can you not smile when a puppy is a round? (Puppies or eating an entire apply pie are my solution ot ALL sadness)

Sounds like a lovely honeymoon. Cant wait to hear the rest.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dog! Losing a pet is so hard, I can't imagine how tough it must be for you both to come home to an empty house without your pup there to welcome you. You guys are in my thoughts, and I am truly looking forward to your (I'm sure to be) wonderful recaps.
