My first giveaway - Come and get it!

Well, it looks like the bloggers have spoken and the thing you'd most like to win in my very first giveaway is 100 red chinese takeout boxes!

These little beauties are from Samplehouse.com and are 1/2 pint size.  They measure  3" x 2.25" x 2.5" and can be used for wedding or Valentine's Day related needs (favor boxes, candy bar containers, bridal shower favors, etc).

This is my little thank you for helping me reach 100 followers last Friday!  So how do you enter?

It's simple, you can get multiple entries and only have to leave them in one comment if you'd like:

1)  Confirm that you are a follower (1 entry)
2)  Tell me how you'd like to use these little beauties (1 entry)
3)  Blog about this giveaway and leave me the link (1 entry)
4) And just for fun, because I am a narcissist, share with me one thing or element from my wedding that I've blogged about that you got inspired from or think is pretty cool  (1 entry)

And don't forget to leave me your e-mail so I can contact you.  You can e-mail it to me if you'd prefer not to leave it on the comments (jkr2995@aol.com).  The contest will run until Friday evening at 9:00 PM PST and the winner will be announced by Saturday evening at 11:59 PM PST.  (Could be earlier, but I have my daughter's birthday party at Disneyland on Saturday and have no idea when I'll be able to randomly select and announce the winner)

Best of luck, ladies and thanks again for all your inspiration and wonderful feedback!

2. I'd use these for our OOT goodies - we're leaving snacks and treats in our guests' rooms at the hotel...these would be great!

It's hard to narrow down what element from your wedding I love the most, but I think the beach bride in me likes the flip flop basket! So strange... I know, but you did a great job on it! :)

I think these boxes are so cute, and would give them to my mom and sister to package the sweets or mini-cupcakes they’re hoping to serve at my shower.

I’ve loved so many of your wedding ideas, and I’m definitely planning to hand out little packs of tissues at our ceremony. Love that idea! I’ve also been really inspired by your invitation wording (more on my plans coming up soon), plus the awesome flip-flop idea! :)

2) I'm not entirely sure how I'd use them since they're not my color. But my bridesmaid is getting married a month later and her color is red. They would be cute to use for one of her showers.
4) I like when you get into more than just the DIY and planning aspect of this, and share your thoughts about marriage and love and all that good stuff. Because after the wedding is over, that's what we'll be left with.

1. Well obviously I'm a huge fan of your wedding prep and therefore a follower. =]
2. Actually I was thinking what great favor boxes they would be. It took me a little while to figure it out though because I already know what I want to give the guests and it doesn't require packaging. And then I remembered how boring weddings can be for kids. SO I'd use these to wrap up some goodies for our younger guests to keep them occupied and entertained. Because I want everyone to have a good time, not just the adults.
4. I actually got this idea from you! So there is my inspiration! Plain and simple.

I just discovered your blog today and it's wonderful! congrats on your upcoming wedding, i'm loving the process.

2. My wedding theme is red and dusty gold so I'd either use them for favors at the reception... orrrr my bridal shower theme is red too (that's about all I know about it) so maybe I'd offer it to the bridesmaids for them to incorporate into that event.

4. LOVE your invitations. I really really love the idea of the labels wrapped around the side of the envelope and I'm trying to figure out a fun way to incorporate that for my invitations!
